# Kalen

> Kalen is an X (Twitter) assistant delivered as a remote MCP server (https://kalen.si/mcp). Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code connect to it. Every day Kalen researches what is working in the user's niche on X (top posts for the niche's keywords, X trends, and weekly the most popular posts of reference accounts and of the user's own account). When the user asks their AI for posts, Kalen hands over a briefing and open time slots; the user's AI writes the posts (Kalen runs no writing model). Kalen scores each draft 0 to 100 with Jev, TypeSafe's judgment model, against what works in the niche and the user's own best posts, with up to 3 rewrite rounds. Only after the user approves in the chat does Kalen schedule and publish the posts on X through the official X API, with an optional first reply.

Plans: Starter ($9/mo or $90/yr: 100 credits a month), Pro ($29/mo or $290/yr: 700 credits a month), Ultra ($49/mo or $490/yr: 1,500 credits a month). A post costs 1 credit, 2 with a first reply or a link (links always go in the first reply). Unused credits last 3 months. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with all its credits. There is no free plan that posts: an account without a plan can connect X and set up its profile, but can't schedule.

Rules: no @mentions of other accounts (X blocks them through the API), at most one cashtag per post, scheduling up to 3 weeks ahead, moment posts within 48 hours. Media: JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB, GIF up to 15 MB, MP4 up to 50 MB.
